The BC Pro Wrestling Fund is a non-profit organization committed to developing and protecting professional wrestling talent in British Columbia.

Professional wrestling is a demanding live performance practice with physical, artistic, and community dimensions. In BC it is powered by a remarkable community: independent promotions, dedicated trainers, and performers who pour everything they have into their craft. But the realities of the work — the physical toll, the costs of training and travel, the unpredictability of income — can make it difficult for talented people to sustain a life in wrestling.

We founded the Fund on a simple conviction: the people who give so much to this craft and community should have somewhere to turn. Today, our work centers on three initiatives — an emergency assistance program providing modest, short-term help for unexpected emergencies, a program that brings trainers in from out of province to work directly with BC talent, and a live events program — beginning with Kits League in Vancouver — that creates paid performance opportunities and introduces new audiences to professional wrestling as an accessible, community-based live performance form. Scholarships, health and safety initiatives, and financial education are on our roadmap — the next commitments we intend to keep as the Fund grows.

We are a community organization first. We listen to wrestlers, work alongside the promotions and schools who train them, and direct support where it makes the greatest difference — expanding access to live performance, supporting performer development and safety, and building a more sustainable local performance ecosystem across British Columbia.
